The Wisconsin Sustainability & Energy Efficiency Awards (SE2) recognize leadership in energy efficient and sustainable design in Wisconsin commercial buildings and related systems. Under the 2008 award program, multifamily buildings of sixteen units or more with a central plant are also eligible for the SE2 award. The goal is to encourage greater collaboration among owners, designers, builders and operators by highlighting the value of projects that enhance the built environment.
Award categories are not pre-determined, but the following projects are examples of what may be considered: whole building design, building systems design and construction, innovative approaches, and operations and maintenance. Other project types may be submitted for consideration. The multi-disciplinary nature of many of these project types is of special interest.
