Milwaukee Project:
Re-vision this underused complex of buildings bordered by North Avenue, N. 10th St., W. Garfield Avenue, and 11th St. into a Green Technologies and Services Center using the LEED Rating System as your guide. This transformation should serve the local community in terms of economic development and market driven employment opportunities; forward green building and sustainable design in Milwaukee; provide profit for the owners/developers; and weave together the fabric of the central city redevelopment begun by the Pabst City Development Project and the near by Bronzeville Redevelopment District.
Take advantage of the close proximity to I-43 by making this complex a destination point for shopping, green building tours and exhibits and what ever else you can envision.
First Place: “Team Rainwater”, Ethan Skeels, Adam Luckhardt, and Eric Seidl
