| From wgba.org News Each year the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) recognizes the talents of students and recent graduates through a Natural Talent Design Competition. The 2007 event brought entries from teams associated with 19 USGBC chapters or affiliates across the nation including the Team H2O from The Team H2O entry, titled RE-VISION PROJECT, earned second place and a $2000 prize. RE-VISION proposed a site redevelopment for a Green Technologies and A few highlights of the entry are reuse of 90% of the existing floor area and recycling 80% of demolition waste. In addition a PV solar array, green roof, and maximized use of daylighting make this an exceptional example of sustainable design. Members of Team H2O include: Ethan Skeels (employed by Planning and Design Institute, and a UWM student), Adam Luckhardt (employed at HGA, and a UWM student), and Eric Seidl (employed by JJR in Madison, and a former UW student). Jeffrey Rainwater from Planning and Design Institute served as the team mentor. Congratulations to this great group of talented, young, green design professionals!
