Carol is the founding partner of Richard Wittschiebe Hand, a popular woman-owned Atlanta architecture firm moved back to her hometown of Madison. Carol designed her ultra-green home with her mechanical engineer husband, Fred. Carol and Fred have blogged about moving to Madison, the construction process, then launched a website to educate people about the green strategies they used. They are very much interested in helping other people green their homes!

Library of Sustainability at the Urban Ecology Center(Milwaukee)
The Libary of Sustainability is a multi-function library of sustainable materials and systems information housed at the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee and the first comprehensive resource center of its type in Wisconsin! A joint effort of Solterra Studios, Pragmatic Construction, WGBA, and Outpost Natural Foods, this library provides information to the public on the importance of building green, as well as raises the awareness of, and requests for, sustainable healthy building products.
USGBC announces REGREEN Program
